Today i greet you with another delayed game and two interviews concerning Modern Warfare 2 and Champions Online. Check them all out after the jump.
Blur delayed into 2010
In the long line of four-letter racers, DIRT, Fuel, GRID and a few others, we now have Blur being delayed into the already-crowded first quarter of 2010. I find the excuse bogus, ‘to optimize the vision’ of Blur. Draw your own conclusions.
An interview with Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer designer, Todd Alderman
It’s no big secret that Modern Warfare 1 sold like hotcakes and as played online by a couple of milion people. It’s also no big secret that CoD: MW2, will also sell like hotcakes and be played online for a good while… so in that note, i point you to this interview. It goes into a few details regarding the naming scheme of the game and in some small multiplayer features like the shield ‘weapon’, online snowmobiles and matchmaking. Great read to get you even more pumped for it.
Champions Online interview with Bill Roper
Champions Online launched with a few more hitches the usually expected in an MMO launch, and some feel it didn’t live up to what they were expecting. The interview discusses what they did and will do to change the game and make better. It also delves a bit into the Blood Moon expansion/update. As far as i’ve read, they’re on the right track, focusion on the issues that really plague the game as it stands at the moment. Maybe in a few months or so the game will be ‘fully up’ and ready.
