Max Payne 3 trailer up for grabs.. or stream

I’ll list my concerns here that Max Payne 3 from what i read and saw will most be anything but Max Payne. For me, what made Max payne..well.. Max Payne, was the noir atmosphere, the ‘now-called’ “emo”, comic-book-cinematics and the bullet time mixed with great gameplay. While i’m seeing the bullet time in MP3, the rest are totally lost on me. Don’t get me wrong, it might be a great game, but it most likely won’t be Max payne.

Risen hotfix

Nothing much to say here aside from the fact that it completely fixes the game for all users of Nvidia GF 6xxx and 7xxx. Check it out if you were having awesome LSD-like graphic artifacting.

Left 4 Dead 2 Scavanger mode hands on

Survival mode meets Versus. I really like this initiative, Survival was fun for a while, but after knowing the perfect spot and having the right tactics employed, it made it pretty cheap… and the fact that you could cheat your way through. Scavanger sounds interesting and will focus on having a lasting appeal, like Versus did for the original L4D. Goes on rather in-depth about playing as Klingons, multiple people on ships possibility, post-launch support and the general goal of the game. A great read if you’re waiting for the game. As far as i see it, the Klingon’s are more of a “once you know your way around the game and think yourself to be pretty pro you can try this” mode. To be honest, what i want from STO is this: a Bridge Commander MMO. If it does that, then i’ll love it to death and beyond. I won’t care much for the ground combat, and as far as i’ve read or seen, it’ll be pretty crappy… so i think it to be smart to totally ignore that part of the game. All in all, it’s shaping up to be atleast good, and worthy of monthly payment.

Dust514 trailer, One Universe – One War

I have the weird feeling that i’ve seen this trailer before, or atleast the sequence in it. Anyhows, i wish CCP the best of luck integrating two games in the same universe.. and on consoles nonetheless.
